even if your math was accurate, what does that prove? there was a time when the majority thought the earth was flat too, that didn’t make them right
My math probably isn’t 100% right. It was all round about done mostly in my head. The same logic could be applie to the minority. What makes the minority right? IMO your all just a bunch of fanboys who don’t like change. Halo is moving forward and your all afraid to move with it. Everyone on here is -Yoinking!- because 343 changed up halo but the way I look at it, if they didn’t, everyone would be -Yoinking!- just as much because 343 didn’t change or innovate the series in anyway. People just new to calm down, see that halo is going in a new direction and accept that no halo isn’t going to be the same halo it was years ago. There’s a reason why halo didn’t score under 80/100 in any review of all the major gaming news websites. It’s a great game all around. All these fanboys are just afraid of change.

How are “we” fanboys? Last time i checked the definition of a “fanboy” is following someone/something in every footstep not questioning anything and acting completely satisfied with everything that is thrown infront of them. Not agreeing with everything about Halo 4 makes us the opposite of fanboys.

nowhere did i assert that the minority was right, clearly this wasn’t meant to just be a math demonstration though. and if moving forward means less options and functionality then no, im not okay with it and if you are, you need to think about who the fanboy is. even if you like the fiesta style game play change there’s no denying the amount of bugs, glitches, and “over sights” in the game
If people complaining are the minority then why is the game’s population falling faster than a turd dropping off the Empire State Building? The only explanation you need is that most casual gamers dont care enough about Halo to hop on the internet and then complain about the game on the developer’s website. They buy the game, dont have fun, and go do something else…which is what has been happening.
Let us be glad they are the minority hidden away in these and other halo forums. The ones who are in the spotlight and get good attention toward this fan base should always be thanked. Those who create machinma or anything else is always good in my book. Sorry I look at this way half the complainers on this forum are ignorant and immature they do not and should not be the majority of this fanbase, other wise this fanbase would be one of the worst.
The players who don’t come onto the forums will play Halo no matter what. If 343 put out an updated Halo 3 with graphics and more maps they would still play no matter what. Now you have to take them out of the equation. Once again we don’t elect presidents based off of people who don’t vote, we only use those people who state their opinion.
Now, once you start using real numbers the minority(the forums people) becomes the only valid form of information. Now if there are 2-3k threads and 50-80% are complaints that means there are anywhere from 1500-2400 complaint threads(you always use the bigger number so 2000 is off.) If each one is started by 1 unique gamer tag then that means 1500-2400 different users have a problem with this game. Then you have to add the unique post in each thread. Meaning go to every thread and see how many unique gamer tags there are. Remove the one’s that post in multiple threads and you have your true number of people who dislike this game.

this attitude helps no one. is thinking of a rebuttal too hard? i’d imagine a correlation exists between people who like halo 4 and people who can’t critically think.

Less options and functionality? You surely haven’t been playing halo 4. The loadouts and ordinance alone allow plenty of options. Functionality wise halo 4 has some of the tightest controls in any game ive every played. There’s bugs because there was no beta. Wait until the
first title update. They will be fixed. It’s not something that can happen overnight. There will be more playlists, people just need to give it time. The people complaining are fanboys otherwise they wouldn’t get butt hurt enough about halo 4 to come here and complain in the first place.
if the game had a real ranking system and more maps it would be better. i know people that dont like halo 4 but just dont know or care enough to post about it in a thread because they know 343 wont fix it anyway

A good bit of people complaining are immature and ignorant fan boys who want to replay there favorite halo game. I have no problem with constructive criticism with this game. But calling it the worst game in history and calling 343i names does your point no good. I have played every single halo game and love them all. Yes I am irritated a little for certain things removed in halo 4 (gametypes) But as for the additions those are coming off of reach and in my opinion this is doing a better job that reach with aas and loadouts. This fanbase needs to understand not every halo game can stay the same form the previous. Halo 5 and 6 will probably not be like 4 so much.
Either way I am ok with halo 4 to me its better then reach, and I am not talking about you in this post but just most complainers I see.
