People complaining about Halo 5 Guardians...

"OMG THIS GAME HAS NO SPLITSCREEN CO-OP I HATE THIS GAME RETURNING THIS GAME NOW I HATE IT"
"OMG LOW QUALITY ANIMATIONS SO BAD"

There can’t be worse people in the Halo community except trolls when we talk about people who complain about Halo.
If you want a game you REALLY REALLY want to play. Then don’t get overhyped for it and know what to expect when buying it. This is what happens when buying a game you don’t know what to expect from that game. People who bought that game and played it expected something else than that and overall overestimated the game, and then starting to dislike it, or even hate it. (same thing happend to halo 4 idk)

If you want 60fps, nice graphics and good gameplay. Then sacrifices must be made for that. People who are complaining about the low quality animations must know that that decision has been made to maintain fluent 60fps while having an acceptable resolution with decent graphics. Same thing goes for people who are complaining about no splitscreen in Halo 5 Guardians. You could see that you can’t get 60fps when playing Halo 2 Anniversary splitscreen. But if you’re someone who plays always alone (like me), then you shouldn’t care about the “no splitscreen” stuff.

And I saw some post where someone is complaining about the pistol in Halo 5 Guardians. It’s just to keep the balance between weapons. Halo 2’s pistol was horrible, Halo 3’s pistol was even worse. And it’s good seeing the CE pistol back in Halo 5 Guardians. And no it’s not overpowered, I used the pistol in a few arena matches and people could kill me with another gun (except the plasma pistol of course).

And people complaining about the armor is something I don’t care. It just comes down to personal preference on what you like.

As someone who started playing Halo games when I was a kid. I accept changes. Changes needs to be made sometimes to make the gaming experience better. And 343 chose the right changes. Halo 5’s multiplayer is now in my top 2 of the best halo multiplayer ever. (Halo 2 is still my #1 <3).
343 Industries, you guys did an amazing job making Halo 5 Guardians! And now please don’t release every Halo game every year with different features otherwise it would end up like CoD.

I had low expectations and expected -Yoink- so I’m not really surprised how it turned out. this game is just half -Yoinked!-… sorry but that’s my opinion.

What do you mean with “this game is just half -yoinked!-”?

Where were you in August? This place was nothing but Halo 5 hype for months. We should have stopped it then instead of rubbing it in the face of the victims now. They’ve simply been shortchanged by a Microsoft sized hype-machine of advertisements, promotions and pre-orders. 343 has benefited from all of that. Hype is as much their fault as it is the consumer’s. It’s too late to ask them to be smart about it, as they’ve already bought the game, so the next thing we can do is try to stop publishers from doing this again and ensure that consumers know their -Yoink- before they buy a game.

60fps is important. Lens flares, gigantic sky boxes, massive empty spectacles and co-op AI is not. How much of this could be cut to achieve a workable framerate and retain features that have existed throughout the game’s history?

BTW, how is Splitscreen at all a hindrance to frame rate? Is it difficult for a player playing alone to play at 60 and splitscreeners to play at 30? If you’re sharing a screen, I doubt you care about frame rate anyway. Was it ever taken into account that people playing on split screen simply wouldn’t play at 60? I want a legitimate answer, because that’s the question that’s popped into my mind every time I see your statement and I can never quite get my head around it.

Also, the Pistol is no where near CE levels yet. That thing could kill in less than a second if you made three headshots. There are too many rifles in this game for conventional wisdom to balance the Pistol like that. In fact, certain segments of the community would like it - get this - buffed.

Feel free to like what you like regarding the multiplayer, but I do find it odd that that’s this game’s saving grace, from what I’ve read. Every poll on every website came up with the fanbase being mostly and entirely excited for the Campaign. To hear that the multiplayer is universally considered better tells me that a large piece of the fanbase isn’t getting what they expected.

its missing so many features its not funny

I think the game is awesome. Im thinking people were expecting a little too much.

I’m really liking it, campain was great, tonight it’s either co-op campaign or warzone.

I think it’s a great game just they changed the multiplayer soooo much & kind of made it Titanfall-esque. I prefer they make a classic style Halo online section where you come with whatever you’ve earned for your loadouts plus I do miss playing it split screen with my fiancé. Now we just take turns but it’s not the same as being on the same team. I enjoy the campaign somewhat & the changes there are okay with the A.I. teammates as they usually always are in other games. My biggest disappointment though is the multiplayer having changed way tooo much & no more voting on maps? Maybe we will get future DLC & fix some of this. Grenades seem to be a lot weaker too. I find the Warzone map is Big Team Battles replacement & that’s eh, seems long & really the only place where you can use those Titan fall cards. I would love to have Big Team Battle back as well as go into a match with my guns of choice somewhat. Honestly the game feels kind of halfed compared to 343’s Halo 4 and that sucks! It should have been Halo 4 & then some not Halo 2 somewhat.

right? expecting features and gametypes that previous installments had is asking for way to much.

the nerve of some people.

I’m puzzled by the fallout of this game. I was hyped since the beta, and I got exactly what I was hyped about. Split screen is a bummer, but I’m having a lot of fun with this game.

People are entitled to their own opinions, I for one am just not that impressed with the game.

arena is fantastic, and the ranking system is perfect…

What fallout? Where is the hate coming from??

Halo 5 is awesome

people complaining about people complaining are just doubling the wasted effort.
it’s ok for people not to like the things you like, and everyone has an opinion.
the only purpose of complaints or praise, it would seem, is the hope that someone from 343i will get that message.
debating criticisms or praise is pretty much just shouting into the wind.
don’t y’all have some games to play?
