People complain too much...

I’ve spent several days in this forum and the only thing i find are multiple threads whining about how broken your experience has been and your quitting Halo 4.Last time i checked we don’t need a status update every time you decide to quit and blame everything on 343i.

I barely see constructive criticism on how 343 can update the game for the better. For a new developer they are frankly doing a sweet job.

Only problems i have are :
Spartan Ops needs a more campaign feel and 4 player games lag terribly.

Custom matches are lag infested, more so than past Halo games.

No Forge World [Halo 5 maybe?]

Multiplayer map design invites epic camping.
[Similar to camping at the top rooms in Sword Base]

Some new asthetic direction :

New Pelican design looks non practical. [manually mounted side turrets, what?!]

I no doubt forgot some things but lastly…

PROMETHEAN VISION

Seeing people through walls is never a good idea

  1. Halo: Reach had plenty of flame when I was on b.net raging about the sword block and the armor lock.

  2. There’s plenty of constructive ideas out there, they are just largely ignored because most people concentrate on the hate. I once had an idea to balance weapon gameplay but it got pushed to oblivion.

  3. I think you’re also throwing in your opinions as some sort of complaint as well.

I also love to complain about complaining, Ironically.

Well, the only problem i have now is team set up…b/c i constantly get stuck with players who dont want to participate and end up losing badly.

Also, in the beginning, i disliked Pro Vision…now i’ve gotten accustom to it, on small maps.

complaining about complainers is even more counterproductive

I don’t know what planet are you from, but when a lot of people complain, it usually means something is… WRONG.

So by ‘constructive criticism’ or a legit ‘complaint’ the message is the same something is going on wrong

Everyone is a self-entitled crybaby and psuedo-critic.

So let me get this straight,im a complainer because im pointing out the problems “I” have with Halo 4 without acting like a child…nice…

The entire purpose of pointing out the problems each person has with the game is so maybe 343 will go: “Hmmm, maybe we should take a look at that.”
This should however be done “RESPECTFULLY”

Who in their right mind spends time on a forum for entertainment? When my clan and I booted this game up on launch night all set to go 8v8 Objective- we found it wasn’t there and thought it just had to be some kind of brutal joke. And so it was- Half the clan quit within a month, and a few of us signed on here to try and fight the good fight for one of the most classic Halo playlists of all time. And we still haven’t had BTB: OBJ restored. And so we go on, hoping to be heard while we take week after week of slayer-dominated variants right to the face. The hardest insult of all: Turning the franchise that always did objective play the best into a deathmatch-dominated game like it’s 1999. That’s insane. And yet we stay on here, doing our best to have hope and lend constructive criticism every time we get kicked in the face by a dev team who just may, in fact, not even notice what’s happened. We have to try to help.

Then again, I suppose by trying to be proactive and help save a game franchise that I and an entire 8 year old clan used to love, well, makes me a whiner.

Funny how that works. Care + Being shocked and appalled at an underwhelming experience + speaking up about it on a forum apparently designed for feedback = whiner.

Right.

Seems to me you are whining… about whiners.

What a magnificent post.

The point is, most of your helpful hints to make H4 better are the same as other posts. Just chill n watch the ship sink.

> The point is, most of your helpful hints to make H4 better are the same as other posts. Just chill n watch the ship sink.

isn’t it marvelous how it sinks? do you want a drink?

See right there? You are wrong. MY point is, if I want to believe that Halo can be returned to standard, I have to hold the line, deal with crappy slayer gametypes and just keep hoping they fix it. Sure, the ship has been sinking since day one. But if I really believed they couldn’t fix what’s been done wrong to something as simple as matchmaking playlists, I wouldn’t actually be on here anymore.

Why are… you… crazy people… still on here?

Is this entertaining for you?

That’s bananas bro

All im saying is that this is their first game,a learning experience if you will.If they don’t change things for the better in future titles then fine,we can all watch the ship sink together.

not a new ip, not a valid excuse, I don’t know how you go from Halo Reach to Crysis Halo of Duty…

> Everyone is a self-entitled crybaby and psuedo-critic.

Do you have any valid counterpoints to the complaints and criticism or are you just going to flame people? Just asking.

There are some things that can be saved in this game and some things that cannot be. Multiplayer CAN be saved if some of the feedback we’ve posted is implemented. If 343i had a true ranking system, which CSR could very well end up as despite being on Waypoint only, and a more traditional playlist with traditional settings like previous games, some of the more competitive players may still be here or satisfied.

Had custom game options been fully in place like previous games we’d probably have a very thriving customs community. Now I’ve played some nice customs, but nothing as great as I’ve played in Halo 3 or Reach.

It just seems like A LOT was cut from this game, like Theater.

This thread covers exactly that. Complaining is old. And very sad.

We also don’t need a status update every time someone gets frustrated with complaining.

Lol at everyone crying about the game. I’m still going to play it because it is halo. It is the epitome of -Yoink- talking and competitive nature. Anyone who has planned a LAN with friends back in the days of CE (and this applies to every halo game) knows that the first thing out of everyone’s mouths is how much they’re going to kick your -Yoink-. I LOVE that aspect of the game win or lose. I’m 30 years old now and have a little time to play H4. I still like to peek around forums and see what people talk about. Sadly, it’s just a bunch of salty kids who can’t adapt to the game and cry if they get trash talked. I’m no pro and I’m not a noob, but it’s not very hard to comprehend this game. Keep your distances, control power weapons, run with your team and don’t run across the open like an Ethiopian in a marathon. Oh and talk a lot of trash pre game and talk a lot of trash post game if you can back it up. So stop your whining and enjoy it for what it’s worth. I hope csr comes back so people can get matched with people of their skill level. That way they won’t cry because their AR doesn’t destroy To4’s.
