Wether you like the game or not, many of us came from that game so we expected a lot more on launch this time around because we thought 343 learned their lesson about not releasing forge on launch. They clearly didn’t learn which is why people are comparing it.
The Halo 5 discussion is important not because people liked the game but because it was 343s last offering before Halo infinite.
There’s many people who don’t even like Halo 5 but they still came from it because they were either from custom games or forge which objectively Halo 5 has the best forge. Many types of players came from Halo 5 not just the ones who loved it.
So next time you see a post start off with “Halo 5 this or Halo 5 that” give it a chance because 8/10 times it’s talking about a missing feature that Halo 5 had and infinite doesn’t
