And, of course, I have not become an aggressive user who only knows how to spit hate without contributing anything constructive.

The Brutes and their silly faces seem almost plonked down onto the battlefield like a child would arrange toys to bash about in their bedroom. It doesn’t feel grounded. It doesn’t feel like it has depth. It feels, well, surface level, smooth and uninteresting.

> Hopefully with this push from gamers and the mainstream media, we can finally be listened to. Maybe not. “Bungie Halo” is Halo. There is no other Halo. They should have not thrown everything away in terms of art style like they did with 4. If you disagree with what I just said, you actually disagree with 343 themselves, as they intended to go back to “Bungie Halo” with “spiritual reboot” Infinite. They are clearly capable of making that because H2A campaign is exactly what we wanted in terms of graphics. Maybe with the mainstream media boost and the push from the gaming community they will finally listen…
The point is, I’ve never been in favor of 343 having to go back to Bungie’s artistic style. I have always argued that they must follow their own style. Much less to please a part of the community that I personally consider to be a lower number of people.
I know those statements from before, and I let myself be convinced because I really believed that they were going to mix the new with the old. Something that could really go wrong, or could go right. At the moment I think they really are complying. But even so, it has not been enough to convince this noisy sector that they do not know how to shout anything other than “Let Bungie return”, “Halo 343 is suck”, etc…, without contributing anything constructive.
And my problem is precisely that. That sector should not have been listened to at any time, and they should have continued to seek their own path. Otherwise they are falling into the mistake of not contenting absolutely anyone. I don’t want to defend 343, in fact I am very critical with the visual aspect of the game. But I am beginning to see how an ball is created without reason, that in the end will end up burning us all.
And this ball has been started by the nostalgic sector who do not like anything new because they have been stuck in Halo 3. You just have to go through the forum to see how the 343 workers are attacked, or who liked what was presented with comments such as “Go play -Yoink- Halo 5, zoomer” and other comments that are not at all typical of this community.
We cannot allow this to escalate into a whirlwind of outrageous hatred.
Edit: I would like to add that I am not denying that 343 should be criticized. But we cannot lose form.
