how is it that players are even able to cheat? The game has only been out a couple weeks. Someone at 343 really needs to do something about this. IE allow people to report players that thay see doing unexplanabel feets.
Oh my god I know, I was playing swat and would you belive it the other players could see me though WALLS I am not kidding the circle they use to aim would turn red before you are even seen. That said I have been killed many times now from shot NEVER even aimed at me, but died cause the circle turned red.
I played a big team battle this morning where the screen kept going black when the other teams mantis got destroyed, when the game resumed a few seconds later there was a new mantis killing us at our base. The game never went to the black screen when the mantis was alive.
you are judging this from a killcam I take it. Its more likely the cam is buggy than people actually hacking.
Also here is a piece of logic for you, if someone is going to hack and be banned within a few hours then they will make it over the top, not something small like what you describe.
Yes but, watching many cams from many games cant not be just lagging cams. Not when some cams snap from one place to where you spawn in at and kill you with a one shot head shot every time. I know some are bad cam veiws but when the cam shows the person watching the wall and using the red circle to fallow them to an opening, that is not just bad cam veiwing. Sorry but something needs done about that, also Im not the only one who has had it happen, my coworker and gamer friend has seen the same thing happen in team snipers. Its gotten to the point where we dont play match making games at all expect to test to see if they are still doing it. We have lately stuck to BF3 and spartan ops.
These “cheaters/modders” threads make me laugh. I seriously doubt you’ve actually run into someone who is hacking the game. Out of the thousands of games I’ve played online I’ve only come across a few games where somebody hostbooted a player on my team, never an autoaim mod or lag switching.
Everytime! People equate their inadequacies as an online gamer for modders and hackers. Just because you are not good at this game and/or are experiencing slight glithching, should you blame 343 for allowing cheaterers to play!
There are no hackers/modders, it’s just laggy killcams. They are still broken. Never encountered modders/hackers in a Halo game SINCE HALO CE so I have no idea what you people are on about. Sorry but you’re insane.
I experienced hacking once and that was on team snipers on Ragnorak where 1 guy was fly hacking instant sniping everyone on my team other than that i have yet to experience any hacking since the game seems to be well maintained other than the fact Killcams Lag worse than a CoD BLOPS II Match.
Yeah so what about a team of three dieing at the same moment as there team mates when a player fires a one round burst from the Br? And dont say its lack of skill, we use mics and real time cordation when we want to really knock heads.
