Penalty?

(sorry again for my noobness Dx) Do you get a penalty for quitting games in Halo 4 like in Reach?

We haven’t had confirmation on such a feature, but I would assume so, if anything it should be a lot more punishing than a minor ten minute ban, exp penalties should happen too.

I have to agree Moa, that ten minute ban is worthless, i hope its exp. penalties.

It should be same as Halo 3, and plus, quitting is an in-game feature, if it’s looked down upon, why put it in the game in the first place?

I seriously doubt it. Or atleast not in the playlists with “join in progress”

It should be that you loose xp from your SR rank every time you quit. For quiting too much with in a time period instead of the temp quit ban that Reach had, it should be a temp ban on earning xp.

I understand where you come from, but i have fairly bad connection and I kicked from the game. So it would even annoy me more if the penalty was worse.

I have not heard of any penalties. However, quitting a match should mean that you forfeit all of the EXP you have earned in that match.

I think they shouldnt be allowed to play another match until the one they left has ended, even if it is the only match they ever leave. they left, so they should be penalized.

I think that already exists. Pretty sure you get nothing from matches where you quit.

awesome idea

no need for a penalty when join in progress is now a feature. Someone leaves the gap is filled.

I don’t see quitting as big as a deal though because there are no AR starts, hemorrhage, or sword base.

For playlists with join in progress they should just give quitters a loss on their stats. For playlists without, give them a loss and take some xp.

I lol’d but there’s a lot of truth in this.

Quitting is annoying but I could never blame someone for doing it in Reach.
