I just thought on how to use them,Look both Teams spawn in a island and theirs a pelican or phantom or both and someone has to fly it to get their team to the Main Island where theres weapons and AA and stuff ,The pearson flying it can also carry veichles and will get certain amount of crdit for how many make it alive and how many passengers and vechiles so the pearson flying it wont feel helpless :slight_smile:

sorry but i meant to put CG(costume games but i dont know how to spell it as you can see,go to my other topic which is the same name only CG instead of CC pleas i would like to see you answear to my question. :slight_smile:

I wouldn’t go for it.
If you’ve ever flown Pellicans in Halo Custom Edition maps you’ll know the tail obstructs your view as all hell. And they’re also too large for any conventional map.

Then you have people fighting over who wants to fly, and it goes down hill from there.

OP, I assume you also want maps that are all minimally the size of Spire then?

There is a reason why Pelicans and Phantoms don’t work in multiplayer: they’re too big to be of any practical usage on the typical sizes of Halo maps.
You’d take off, fly for 2 seconds, be on the other side of the maps and then what? Nothing would really work agains them in terms of weaponry either. So not only would they be impractically fast, they’d also be unbalanced in terms of strength (although sporting no real effective weapons of course).

There’s also a reason why we got things like the Falcon.
They’re smaller and therefore more practical.
They can be destroyed by nearly every weapon, meaning they’re not unbalanced.

Long story short: No Pelicans/Phantoms or even Scarabs for that matter in multiplayer or custom games please.

It would be cool but technically it’s impossible. There are too big for the maps. Or they have to make special maps (in space for example) like Battlefront II. This game had special maps for space battles and it is a great game, even today !
