Watching some matches it struck me just how cheap and cheesy this ability can be, especially with op forge. Personally I think you shouldn’t be able to transport into the fog of war, you should have to actually have vision there. One of the downsides to using grizzlies should be they are really slow, this totally negates that and a players defences.
That would kill the ability and make it useless.
Awful idea and a awful nerf.
I think there is still a limit on the range though it can be used… like on 3v3 highway, you cant go from your home base to the opponents home base or anything like that at least.
There is a length distance and differing from the teleport, you can’t move your units directly on top of a location where other units are.
How large is the exclusion zone from a base? It was just watching some games it seemed they could basically drop a bunch of grizzlies plus forgehog almost right next to a base. Then even when beaten back they could do it again so quickly. I’m thinking mainly of metalisers game he not long ago played, he won as he out played them and they left but it was over 100 minutes as this was used repeatedly.

Yeah, not sure i could do anything else except turtle with the army comp i had, tried air at a point and i almost lost the game.

I bring that up because Johnson has 2 Leader Points towards it. His goes extremely far, I mean halfway across the map far.
Its not fair that Forge gets the best vehicles, the best hero, and a teleport while colony is still falling overhimself on the other side of the map.

You left out economy. Baldy gets his boosted economy, too.
On the bright side at least Hunter’s Brand is legit. Heavy Metal negates it… but still!
I Agree Baldy Is Better then Colony leader Power wise But disagree Hero wise level 3 vet hunter caption with two upgraded skitters attached does better then a level 3 forgehog as forge hog needs support 87 percent of time but hunter caption can hold back armys while garnished and forgehog cannot a forge hog garnished would funny to see though lol

in a boxing ring, the Hunter Captain wins 10/10 times. unfortunately he is SOOOOOOO slow. Aside from putting him in a garrison near the battle, he is exceptionally difficult to micro and impossible to use if you want to actually catch something like hogs or inspired units.

True hunter caption is slow forget taunt ability he needs a speed related ability or a ability slow down every unit map for 21 seconds to his speed lol would funny to see a super slow hog lol ok punts aside best way mirco hunter caption very slow walking pace is Predict enemy attack and rush to the near by garnished area some maps i know exactly next move were one gets attacked

I watched that game too. Meta had to turtle him because Grizzlies and Kodiaks rekt him just for Forge to effectively counter attack.

I think a bigger problem is that the transport sometimes unloads if one of your units dies while going in.

haha port anywhere on map, do your attack, then port back to your main base AND HEAL from anywhere on map…

Pelican is fine, Teleport and Pelican have their pros and cons. It doesn’t need nerfed at all and is only really useful with Johnson, It’s okay with Forge.
