Pelican and phantom stats.

Mainly, the pelican and the phantom. Now, I know that this isn’t the first thread about this, but most posts don’t have ideas in terms of how the vehicle would play and how it would be implemented. So…

Pelican: Troop transport. Capable of holding five passengers and a pilot.

Speed: Around 35-80 miles per hour. In between the warthog and falcon in terms of speed.

Health: (100 is an example of player health) 3000-4000. A few rockets will kill it, a LOT of regular bullets to take it down. Now it is not totally useless.

Agility: Slower then the falcon. It builds up speed more slowly and turns slower too, so you can’t just swivel and insta-kill your enemies.

Weaponry: Mounted Railgun. A gun under the cockpit, like in Reach. Damage equivelant to the.Mounted Machine Gun. Now it can take out enemies without too much resistance, and can kill attacking vehicles in about 7-12 seconds or more.

Re-spawn rate: Twice a match, so use it wisely!

Other notes: back can open and close to dispense teammates. Teammates can fire from the back when door is open. Requires two EMP’s to down it.

Phantom: Troop transport. Capable of holding four passengers, two gunners and a pilot.

Speed: Around 35-55 miles per hour. Too fast and it becomes too much of a power, unbalanced.

Health: (100 is an example of player health) 2500-3500. A few rockets will kill it, a LOT of regular bullets to take it down. Now it is not totally useless.

Agility: Slower then the falcon. It builds up speed more slowly and turns slower too, so you can’t just swivel and insta-kill your enemies.

Weaponry: Two mounted Plasma Cannons. Pilot has no control over weapons.

Re spawn rate: Once per match, as it does slightly out-do the Pelican.

Other notes: Both sides of the Phantom can be opened separately or together. Phantom slows down to half speed while deploying troops.

Do you agree?

just a request but could you change the pink font please? it’s kind of hard on the eyes.

Lol, sorry. I was just distinguishing between the UNSC and Covenant vehicles. It shall be black!

thanks, i’m not getting any younger here!

So, they’re support vehicles while smaller aircraft are attack. Then what are the ground support? Elephant and…Specter?

phantom needs a pilot gun… plasma cannons are fail ageinst veicles (as long as their as inacurate as they currently are)

and for the pelican, one should be abel to use the machine gun in the troop bay (HALO 3- past, style) to be equivilent to the phantom

and why not add some missles, just for a type, (like gauss, rocket, and minigun hogs, there can be a normal pelican, and a missle pelican)

what about spirits?

albatross maybe?

Great ideas. The stat breakdown makes sense too. Good post

There should definitely be a machine gun in the troop bay in the pelican, that way the amount of guns even out in the pelican and phantom, and the pelican can cover the rear as well.

That was my initial thought. i suppose I should have been more clean instead of just saying “Players can fire from the back”.

Aww thanks!

There really isn’t a reason to have such a large transport vehicle on a Halo map.
