I dislike Pegasus for FFA.
It’s highly annoying having long corridors along the sides, and too often you’re in a battle with someone else and someone just picks you off with the light rifles from the other sides. There’s too much long range action going on for an FFA map. And if you spawn on the bottom you’re exposed as hell.
Orion is a much better map as, yes, there’s some long range action, but there’s plenty of cover! In Pegasus there’s none on the bottom, and none along the corridors!!
There’s too much exposure throughout the map for it to be an FFA map.
I also hate Eden as an FFA map. It was awesome as a TS map on the BETA.
I get spawn killed constantly on Eden, or I spawn in the middle of the open space near Rocket spawn and have to hope I’m not spotted while I try and get another position.
You go left and you’ve got the Hydra on you, and sniper pointing down. You go right and you’re probably gonna get killed by someone camping at shotty, or you can go to the stairs and hope the rocket guy is not running around somewhere there.
