didn’t 343 say their against p2p? then why the hell am I connecting to a peer instead of a damn dedicated server in halo 5? I have a netduma and it tells me exactly where I’m connecting to. I’ve recently started playing with the geo filter off since with it on it seems very inconsistent even when I’m connecting to a server very close to me. since I’ve turned it off I discovered that half the time I’m connecting to a peer instead of a server?!
Halo 5 doesn’t make use of P2P anywhere in the game, everything runs on dedicated servers
I haven’t had problems with my netduma but I have also had some peer connected games. I don’t understand why, but it’s happening.

Weird, right? They specifically said that this game will only run on servers and they are against peer 2 peer connections. Shows how much they lied to their customers. I usually play fine with peer 2 peer, but mid match i would to start to notice lag like shots not registering and players start to skip around and its frustrating. I believe what the game developers say so i buy their product, but yet they are full of -Yoink-. Smh.
H5 doesn’t use p2p so I’ll lock this.
