pc update

yesterday I received a notification for halo wars 2 pc that It needed to be updated. so I started the update and waited. heard it was a 12 gb update. thought this was fine however it downloaded 16 gb then restarted at 0 and now I have no idea whats going on with that. can anyone tell me if that is normal when halo wars 2 updates or is it acting up on me? thanks for you time and input.

Mine is doing something similar.

  • I went to the Windows 10 Store App and did a “check for updates” and it didn’t find any update for Halo Wars 2. - I looked under my “Installed games” and Halo Wars 2 was not listed. Weird. - I went into the Windows 10 settings app, and moved my Halo Wars 2 installation from one drive to another. - I looked under my “Installed games” and Halo Wars 2 was still not listed. Weird. - I completely uninstalled Halo Wars 2.Now when I try to install it, I receive error Code: 0x80072F8F

I reported this error code to the Feedback Hub app by upvoting an item.

I just confirmed with my friend that he also wasn’t receiving the Halo Wars 2 PC update, so he also uninstalled the game, and he’s also now getting an error. Haven’t confirmed his error code yet.

its happening more frequently now and it doesn’t give me a error code. as of now I cant get the update to start. I’m finding this quite frustrating. I want to play halo wars 2 but cant without the update
