I can’t for the life of me figure out how to unmute my lobbies on PC. There is no option anyway.
Audio settings:
Voice chat mode: Open mic
Fireteam and lobby chat: Checked
Match chat: checked
spartan chatter: checked
While in game I can see my mic going off and all other speaker icons are slashed out but no way of unmuting them.
Help, I can’t solo queue without talking to people.
Bump… This is seriously putting a negative taste in my mouth that I can’t get a response from 343, 343 social media accounts, on forums.
How is anyone playing this game without communicating with their team?
Bump for same issue here. All my settings are checked and enabled, but I cannot hear my team mates. They can hear me, I’ve tested, but I have no incoming comms. Been having to use disc. Bump bump bump, 343 WE NEED HELP
Bump. Same issue. Tried checking my Xbox accounts privacy settings, but I still haven’t heard a peep from anyone.
I actually had a this exact issue - I’m not sure if you have the same problem but it’s worth a share.
I have a monitor with speakers but I have audio to my headphones. For whatever reason, HI was playing audio through my headphones (and my speakers?) but I couldn’t tell the audio was coming through my speakers because they are always muted.
So even though I have my headphones as the default audio device, the voice channel went to the speakers somehow (even though my headphones received all other game sound).
My solution for now was to disable the monitor speakers from windows. Hopefully it’s the same issue!
Ok bois solution for me was in windows game bar. On PC, press windows key + G while in game, and you should see your audio settings on the left hand side. Make sure your output device is set to whatever you use for speakers or your headphones etc. Mine was outputting in game voice to my oculus by default for whatever reason.
Mine keeps having peoples voice chat come through my speakers when I’m using a gaming head set…
Have watched the videos, have verified microsoft xbox game bar, tried open mic. No sound, It’s almost like there’s no voice chat or chat whatsoever.
