With the new crossplay/preferred input locked playlists, I can’t use text chat (or even pause the game with the keyboard) if the playlist is locked to preferred input device and I’m using my controller
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Can you forum-lurkers at least link me to something helpful, if you HAVE come accross the answer, and are withholding it?
Pre 10/1/2020 ish (not sure which update made you pick a “preferred input”), you could play on a controller and press the “text chat” key and the text chat of the current session (game, or lobby) would come up, and allow you to use your keyboard to text chat.
Past the update (again, not sure of it’s date) I play MCC on Steam on PC, and I SEE people using text chat, but I can’t reply with text chat at all…
Or can I? How can I, is a better question? How can I reply, if I have my controls set to “gamepad/controller?”
