I preordered on Steam. Ever since the day it came out 3 days ago, I have played one online game because I can’t get into any. As soon as I start a search, it says “Connecting session” for a few minutes, sometimes it will put me into lobbies where there are a few people or even a full lobby. Then it says “Restarting search” and empties my lobby again. The one game I played was yesterday, I started a search and waited about 15 minutes before I got put into one by my surprise. I haven’t been able to recreate it since. As it searches, the game will freeze completely from anywhere between 2-10 minutes. Occasionally, I get put into a lobby and it freezes for an especially long time then says “You were removed due to a player in your party being idle” or something like that. Also, on occasion, I lose connection from Xbox Live for a few seconds and have to restart the search. None of these are internet issues, as my connection remains stable. (~92Mbps download, ~37Mbps upload) I have checked forums, I have relays turned off. That’s the only advice I could find.
Update: Since posting, I have been searching for the past 36 minutes. I found a 15/16 player match, one with 6 pepople, and a full, 16/16 match. I was “Restarting search”-ed out of each one after a few seconds. Game also crashed between the second and third search.
Update: Literally just turned off vsync
