PC Players with 3070/3080Ti GPUs abandoned by 343

this was such an incredibly bungled flight launch. So many different issues but I’d like to Focus on one that is affecting me and thousands of other loyal halo fans who have been insiders for a long time, and have been part of other flights.

and now, due to 343’s incompetence we have simply been ignored and forgotten because we have decent GPUs that weren’t a part of their erroneous list.

I want clarify, I am 100% eligible and I just was invited to the MCC flights a few weeks ago. Nothing had changed and now I’m not invited to the infinite flights? No email invite, no message on waypoint and NO CODE on my insider page. I flat out have not been invited to the “open to all Insiders” Flight because 343 messed up.

Why have all the community reps like snickerdoodle and Unycek simply gone off the radar about this?

Who is going to address how messed up this is? Me and thousands of people who got affected by this have been totally screwed after being stoked about this for weeks.
As a halo fan I’m used to being let down by 343, but this is just brutal and heartbreaking. Was looking forward to playing infinite beta and it looks like now myself and thousands of other qualified people won’t get a chance because of a really dumb oversight by 343.

is anyone else affected by this?
Was anyone else able to get this resolved or get a response from someone at 343?

are they going to try to fix this for the next round of flights, if there are any, or should I expect to just be abandoned once again by 343.

It isn’t ‘everyone’, just a bigger portion of people. You aren’t the only person who missed out.

Fairly sure I saw a few people in the PC lag reporting thread with 3070/3080s, they were still having problems so it’s not like a great GPU didn’t need to be tested.

That’s incorrect. 343’s announcement was that these flights are open to “all halo insiders” that is a direct quote. Of course you have to have your file uploaded and be opted into the correct platform.

the announcement was not for “a large portion” of halo insiders. Check yourself before you rek yourself

It was an error that 3070/3080’s weren’t sent codes, but owners of those cards should be getting an invite soon.
