Your a super soldier with a AI and advanced hud. Of course there going to bake in “assists” it’s always been that way it wouldn’t be halo without the science fiction.

no. spoiled is what i call this kind of post.
You can have a stripped down rank Playlist without anything that makes halo halo. As long as there is a traditional ranked Playlist. If there is even enough people who want to play halo skinned cod.
You can say practically every feature of halo including shields is a crutch or easy mode or whatever. Radar, weapons with tracking bullets. Hipfire being as good as ads
I don’t care about aim assist idk why thats relevant. The Spartan still has to aim the gun the software doesn’t move his arms just tells him when he is on target.

Just because lore isn’t a good excuse doesn’t make the rest of their points good. Other features in Halo can be called “crutches” but you too have misdirected the conversation.
Console has red reticle for all guns, while PC only has it for some guns. The fact that they currently don’t have equivalent features doesn’t make sense from a QoL perspective.
Whether or not either should or should not have red reticle is an entirely different conversation from the thread topic.

Been playing decently well without it.
It looks like the real issue you have is the outlines and trust me, we all have that issue.
Sometimes the Shield Damage visual effect makes someone totally red and I’m like cmon man wtf is this.

One platform has it and the other doesn’t. I would agree if it were the other way around as well. It simply doesn’t make sense to have this discrepancy. Whether or not we need it is another conversation. If we really don’t need it, then take it off console too.

Bumping this. Whoever decided that this would do anything to reduce or mitigate cheating on PC clearly has no idea what they are talking about and should not be a decision maker in terms of the PC port of any Microsoft game ever again lol. Red Reticle needs to return and that’s that; there is not a counter-argument.

My bad. I forget that Halo vets want a low skill game.
It’s even playing field and you still have to land your shots. Spare me the unwanted elites attitude from fps games that don’t even have the same gunplay mechanics of Halo. Let me see you participate in the HCS And win then talk.

Please, if you think that the insane magnetism afforded to controller is “landing your shots”, you’re as delusional as every other controller player in this game.
And if you think Halo Infinite is even close to what “real Halo is” you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Didn’t stop cheaters like they thought so bring it back. It’s nice knowing how close you gotta be for your shots to actually hit plus it helped with no scopes.
