Launch day and multiplayer on pc is stil unplayable for most pc players, server problem they say. Then fix it, this is why you have betas
after the terrible Halo 4 launch and a Master chief collection that still doesnt work i would have expected 343 to actually take this seriously. No respect for customers at all
1st match: Takes forever to find players, takes forever to load. Once the game starts, all allies had disconnected.
2nd match: Finds players relatively quickly. Loads fairly quickly. Match freeze upon start for 30 seconds, then speeds up to current game time, the second it hits current game time, I get disconnected.
3rd match: Takes forever to find players, loads fairly quickly, once we start, everything is fine except all allies quit immediately…
4th search in progress: Takes forever to find players. Two players disconnected immediately. One ally one enemy. Remaining Ally is AFK for two minutes, have not played the game at all, produces units, no buildings, does not move the units.
In the fourth match which I actually played a little.
-Choppy frame rate
-Slow response on leader powers
-Units not selecting through hotkeys
-Selected units not responding to commands
-Mini map fast camera travel not working
I’m out of PC multiplayer until this is fixed.

embarasing for a company of Microsofts size. Least they could do is tell us wtf is going on and when we will get what we paid for
3v3 is completely broken right now. I got one decent game of threes in the almost 100 games that I’ve played now. My win loss is less than half because of all the disconnects. I really hope that they do a complete wipe of all the stats, otherwise my record is going to be crap. I enjoy the game, but in the team war playlist only 2v2 works…
Having the biggest frame drops on multiplayer. I can start up a skirmish match with 1v1,2v2 or 3v3 with no lag what so ever. I can even play with my buddy in a 2v2 agenst AI. But as soon as we start up a multiplayer game the frame goes from stable to unstable. I do not understand why. we both have a fairly good pc and with that I mean we have a GTX 980 with a good processor. I even have this game on an SSD drive but that did not help. We did all our settings to the worst you can have but still no luck in the multiplayer. We can play blitz and have somewhat good fps but it’s not that great. one round we have okay fps next round we have the worst fps. We have tried just about anything to fix the fps but nothing seem’s to work. I think it’s the server’s that they have are a bit unstable but can’t be sure. I do have a 1000/mgb per sec internet and I can tell it’s frame drops and not ping lag.

I personally was fine in the custom match, but like, a friend of mine had to press F 5 times to open the leader menu. Another one had a NICE delay on everything… and then one of them got dropped

Haha that really suck’s. I do however think the problem is with their server’s not keeping up to the amount of people playing the game but at the same time we should not get frame drops if it was the server’s fault. This is a really weird sort of problem that I have never encountered in the previous games that I have played.

Oh yeah you’re totally right. Servers shouldn’t be affecting FPS. It just sort of seems like it was released before it was finished

Yup I think they released it to soon on PC. My friend played a little on his Xbox and according to him it run’s with no issues. The Xbox platform works and on the PC platform just have to much frame drops to even be playable. 343 industries isn’t know’n for their PC platform games but they worked with Creative assembly to make Halo wars 2 and Creative assembly is a little bit more know’n for their PC platform games.
It’s just really weird how it can work perfectly on Xbox and not on PC.

To be fair they have been doing that. Both here and on the subreddit. There have already been two patches and they are still working on it. Not an excuse for the poor release, but they are not ignoring the problem.

Yeah but considering the track record of Halo 5 and the MCC I guess it isn’t all that surprising. An official statement would be fine, like if that could just clear it all up there’d be no problem, but it’s almost like they don’t even know about it.

I have to agree on this. They already made some patches and hopefully they will patch this error aswell. My friend could not hear the voices of the people in the cinematic on the campaign but after the yesterdays patch he could so that’s a sign that they are doing something.
