PC Minimum Specs

Hi guys,

I don’t play video games much any more. Aside from MCC, I haven’t purchased a new game in over 5 years. But I am excited about Infinite. Halo 3, ODST, and Reach were the staple for me back in their prime. Problem is, my rig is just beneath minimum specs. I have been running the beta, turned down the graphics, and I have been satisfied with the performance. Nothing to write home about, but it gets the job done and opens the door for the gameplay.

Question is, will the final build prevent me from playing because I’m below minimum specs? I OC’d my GPU, but the CPU/mobo combo is more complicated, and it won’t be worthwhile if the game will just block me based on the model number. I know the answer to these questions is typically “buy a new computer,” I just can’t afford to do that for one game, especially with chip prices the way they are right now. And maybe that’s just the way it is. Just hoping to prepare myself one way or the other. Thanks!

Unless there’s some weird incopability it should work fine. Minimum requirements are usually just specs that can run the game in a way someone could be reasonably asked to put up with. So if you’re fine with lofi graphics and low framerate you should be fine. Oh, the OS is another story, that usually needs to be actively supported, so no linux I’m afraid.
