My Brother in law gave me his friend code to play with him this weekend and I know that, while the flight isn’t available yet, you can open it just to get the “your account isnt authorized message”. I have checked multiple times to make sure my laptop met the minimum requirements to play this game and I know it does but for some reason i can’t even get the game to open, it just pop us with an error message that says it cant open because my laptop doesnt meet minimum graphic requirements. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a fix?? Am I just SOL orrrr?
I get it too, but it has a black loading screen, I literally tried everything, spent the better part of two days leaning things about computers and coding to try and fix it, it didn’t work.
The kicker is even though my graphics card is an integrated intel, it should technically be able to run this game, it runs DirectX12 its only a little over a year old and one of the newest i7 10th gens, I’ve heard that nothing around an AMD 900 (I had to learn all the lingo) can run this game for the flight, they are supposed to fix it for release, I have my doubts considering it took them several years to get the custom browser out for MCC, and it still doesn’t have all the games (wanna play halo 2?)
I tried going on reddit for a solution or workaround, got told by them that I should just google the requirements, after I explained that random numbers and letters of graphics cards don’t make sense to most people, and that I did google things for Hours I was just looking if there was a solution, I got called an idiot and that if you like gaming on PC as a hobby, you should already have a 300 dollar graphics card, and got pushed a statistic from a -Yoink!- about how 2/3rds of gamers can afford them. Then I got told I shouldn’t be buying a 60 dollar game (ignoring that its free) if I can’t afford a 300 dollar card, then I got banned.
I’m going to say you’re -Yoink- out of luck I tried over half a dozen solutions for nearly everything I found on it, I started to learn how to code… why would they make the graphics requirements for a free to play so high? Guess it doesn’t surprise me considering they took 10 years to put halo 3 on PC.

A mid-level graphics card is more than 300, let alone a good one lol.
Even if the market weren’t messed up like it is right now for GPUs, the cheapest of the new wave is still about 400$. That’s the cheapest. To get a good GPU right now you would have to spend 700-1200. To get the best GPU right now you’d have to spend 1400-2200 lol. Its nuts.
I would recommend just getting the xbox series x. The GPU is basically a 3060 and the CPU is basically a 3700x. If those 2 were put inside a PC build it would be over 1k total for those 2 parts alone.
This is coming from someone with a 1900$ PC build. (3070 and 9700k with other stuff) Trust me, if you want value for your money and you are on a budget, just get the series X. PC gaming is expensive and you can’t expect AAA titles like Halo Infinite to run on “ancient” or “cheap” PC parts. That’s what the XBOX is for, its around 500-600$ instead of paying 1200 for a PC with the same GPU and CPU. Trust me, or don’t lol, but everything I’ve said is true and accurate.
Yea an xbox is still not responsible for me atm, I’m looking for a new job, and trying to move outta my parents place. This sucks I knew my computer might run Infinite really badly, but I didn’t think I wouldn’t even be able to open it.
I don’t expect it to run on ancient or cheap PCs, neither of which my PC really is, this -Yoink- was expensive, but I needed to get a cheaper one because I had one month of college left and my old one shot the Bed,
Every single thing I looked at online except the halo forums said and I7 10th gen should feasibly run this game, I have DirectX12 running on my PC, and the error that comes up says I don’t have it, I have windows 10 always have, and Infinite is recognizing my OS as windows 8, and then there are plenty of people in this forum with high end cards that have run into the exact same problem.
