PC Game Pass subscription not allowing access to campaign without separate purchase

Been trying to get this figured out since yesterday evening. The campaign is installed, both the Xbox and Microsoft Store app list it as perfectly playable, but trying to access the campaign through the in-game menu only prompts me to buy the game through the Microsoft Store.

Have tried just about anything I could find, uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, did the same with the HD Texture Pack and Campaign modules - individually and together - as well as repairing and resetting the Xbox App, Microsoft Store, Xbox Gaming Services, and Halo Infinite itself. Rebooting PC thoroughly.

Xbox support was unfortunately clueless, and Halo support is yet to respond. I know it’s a long shot, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That bug? That was an issue a few days ago at launch for me. Sounds not updated

Today I just went to manage and unchecked and checked the high-res textures pack to trigger the update. Microsoft installer is the worst

Oh there’s also two separate “games” under the game on the PC app

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately no dice, have tried keeping the texture pack off and reinstalling it to no effect. Doesn’t seem to matter which version I launch either.

Well I couldn’t launch at all with the texture pack checked. It just sent me to the store app

So unchecking it for sure did the trick and then rechecking later for sure triggered the reinstall of the pack

That happened to me as well, I`m so sorry to hear that it is happening to you, I just delated the entire game, installed the multiplayer by its own and the insatalled the campaign trough the xbox companion app
