After firing up with excitement on Pc this morning I was greeted with what I can only describe as a monstrosity performance wise.
I play at 1440p and specs are:
5900x - CPU
RTX3080- GPU
32GB 3600Mhz RAM
i tweaked and adjusted all settings to try various configurations. My conclusion is that nearly all combinations yielded very similar results with the standard margin for error in mind. My experience is a frame count of circa 110, static and as soon as anything happens on screen dips to roughly 90 or just below. However what is on screen still doesn’t reflect 90FPS and feels like playing a game at sub 30 on an old console when overloaded. VRAM us wage is 60% (ish) but GPU utilisation rarely passes 50% with CPU utilisation at roughly 25%.
I’ve switched up to the series X which is much less powerful than my rig and the performance and experience is 100x better which is a big concern.
Please use the thread to post your rig and experience and let’s get this magnified ASAP.
Well im around 90 fps and have FPS downtimes when moving fast or look at specific map locations. Also the overall graphic looks horrible like everything is on low qualitiy.
consistently in the mid 40s, practically the same as the previous flight. Although they said there’d be a 20% boost in this flight it feels just as bad if not worse at times then July’s, hoping that fellow AMD users don’t get shafted at launch because it’s looking pretty bad for us atm lol
1080p
Powerful 3070
5800x

I’m getting about 160+ FPS constantly but with the most extreme Mico stutters that are also almost constant. When I do have a window of smoothness the aim with controller feels great compared to last flight but the microstutters are worse than at the beginning of the first flight on good PCs. Also worth mentioning the fact of no full screen which adds delay when playing windowed. I didn’t check GPU util or VRAM usage. Updating graphics drivers at this point.
My R9 Fury X reports full utilisation while drawing very little power and running cool. the game also runs at 20fps and only loses 2 FPS from changing from maximum to lowest settings. R5 3600 usage is around 80% despite the incredibly low framerate. Completely unplayable on my machine and makes me question how performance and optimisation this dismal can at all be improved before release.

Same issue here I have been -Yoinking!- around for a few hours 40 is my peak for frames
3090 RTX
5950X CPU
32 GB 3800mhz ram
1440p 240hz Omen X
170-190 fps in game
Whilst FPS looks OK on a combination of low/medium settings the input latency is terrible on mouse and keyboard. Frame timing feels like its 10ms+ (can’t actually get a number due to lack of Afterburner support)
NO fullscreen exclusive mode seems to be a big issue.
So much for PC support in all their marketing.
2600x
1660 Ti
16Gb 3000Mhz RAM
2560x1440 144hz Monitor
At minimum settings, I get 40-60 FPS.
In Star Wars Battlefront 2 EA, at medium settings with many more bots and much larger maps, I get 80-100 FPS.
The game doesn’t even have fullscreen mode (no, borderless windowed is not a valid replacement) so I can’t use adaptive sync, meaning the game is extra choppy even compared to other games with similar inconsistent framerates.
5950x
rtx 3090
32gb 3600mhz cl16
playing at 5120x1440
Feels as though adjusting or lowering settings does nothing. I’m always between 90-110fps but the frame rate feels significantly lower than that. Feels jittery as if gsync isnt working.
Ryzen 3900X
Geforce GTX 1660 SUPER
16GB Gskill RAM 3000MHZ
AOC 144HZ Monitor with Gsync ON
I only get around 100 to 110 FPS but i have huge fps drops when something fast is happening or when i flick fast with the mouse.
The Graphic settings are resetting to standard everytime i launch the game, when im trying to set everything to low it says " Texture Quality changed, please restart the game to take effect and when i restart, everything is set to standard again so i wont let me change all the graphics.
The Game is also starting in windowed mode everytime, even when i change it.
Please give the Game a real Fullscreen because Fullscreen Borderless is not FULL Fullscreen.
Edit: Okay guys so it seems like there is a fix, at least for me. Someone else mentioned in a other Thread to put everything on off or low except for Geometry Quality and Terrain Quality, you have to change both of these settings to ultra. that gave me a jump from 100 fps to 130/140 FPS without any stuttering. After that i put Minimum Framerate to 144 and Maximum Framerate to Unlocked and turned off the Fullscreen Optimization in Windows. Now i have stable 150 to 160 FPS on every Map without any stuttering. I hope this helps some of you
RTX 2070 Super

Constant video and audio stuttering. Setting the game to real-time priority in task manager is the only way to remove the stuttering, but then the game crashes frequently and stops other applications from running on my PC. Reducing the resolution and playing in a smaller frame at 1080p makes no difference.
