It takes getting used to, but my mouse has extra buttons for the missing controller buttons I normally would use in Halo. All I can say for sure is that it’s a breath of fresh air to look around faster. I always hated stick aiming and wasd movement. Stick mouse combo has existed since PS2 and earlier on PC. It was a niche that was rarely seen and not taken seriously outside of Japan.
Whoever was doing it was very savvy, that’s all I have to say
