So I was registered for both console and PC flighting for the Halo Infinite Insider, however I have only received the Xbox flight. Does anyone know if more Steam keys will be distributed or am I stuck with the Xbox flight for the weekend?
You’re lucky you even got an invite.
If you didn’t get a PC invite you won’t be able to play on PC I’m afraid, only on Xbox

its weird because I got a message for a PC invite but not a message for an Xbox invite. So does that mean there was an error in distribution?
Was that message here on Waypoint? if so, yes that appears to have been sent incorrectly. There should be another message titled HALO INFINITE - JULY TECH PREVIEW that has the correct details and your Insider profile, at the bottom, will tell you what platform you were invited to

Yes it was sent here on Waypoint and I also see the other message under the “Ready Up” tab stating “The tech preview build is now available on Xbox consoles.” but nothing about PC. There is nothing on that message that states which platform I was invited to other than the indirect message on the tab mentioned that the only thing available was the xbox version.
Also the other message I got says, “You have been selected to participate in the latest Halo Insider flight on PC through the Microsoft Store!” Does that mean that I can get the Halo: Infinite Insider through the microsoft store for my pc or is it again just an error?
The MS store is an error, you can safely ignore it - there are no fights for Infinite on MS Store.

Oh no I’m aware on which flight I was invited to. I guess I should elaborate that I have the first gen Xbox One and I cannot run Halo: Infinite on that dinosaur so I was hoping to get the PC invite since I was opted in for PC flighting, but instead of getting a PC flight I got the xbox flight. I was hoping that they have not distributed all the keys for the invite just yet, but if that’s the case I guess I can’t play the flight without melting my xbox one.

Yeah I would opt out of Xbox flights in future if you haven’t done that already. Worst case you can give it a go and see how it is. Might not be the best experience, but it’s something

Did you upload your DXDiag when you signed up for pc?

No steam codes have been released for this weekend’s flight. The code you are trying to use is for an older, closed flight - likely MCC Season 8.
The flight is on hold at the moment as 343 are dealing with a late-game technical issue. No codes or emails providing access to builds are likely to be sent until decisions have been made and updates posted. The flight may or may not be pushed out, a delay is not confirmed until 343 provide updates. An update is likely to come out in the AM, 343 time [PST] with further details.
