1.Frames per second meter : If players can accurately gauge they’re fps than they can adjust settings to at least meet 60 fps.
2.Benchmarking tool : If you cant have a FPS meter than this is the second best thing, Allow players to run benchmarks to assure there hitting that 60 fps mark before allowing them to que for multiplayer matches.
- Dynamic performance scaling : System to automatically adjust visual settings ingame (on your end CA/343) to assure players are reaching that 60 fps mark.
If i had to guess id say less than 20% of my games are smooth when i run any multiplayer, Most are just unplayable due to lag/stutter and im almost positive this has more to do with the fact that people in game are attempting to play the game with a low framerate. One of the people i play this game with has a pretty crappy internet connection and yet when we duo its a smooth experience and im assuming thats because hes adjusted his settings to achieve a smooth framerate.
Please…Before you introduce any kind of leaver penalty add some QOL features to HW2 to assure players that they’re average game is actually playable because at this moment its a unplayable -Yoink!-.
