Pc crossplay and hackers

the only reason i am not replay on your questions is easy.
if i do replay on your questions back then i am stuck in a discusion what will end the same way like it has done years ago about crossplay.
then i mean the Xbox concole communety VS PC communety discusion what has bring back then all no use.
since people from the PC communety think its no big deal when the xbox communety finds a big deal.
like there is now all that the 2 communety’s are fighting again with each other again.

thats why a lot off communety members have told all that the Warning sign’s from back then have come out and have been ignore.

you are defending the PC Communety since you play halo on the PC and you can do that.
and i defence more the Xbox communety since i play halo on the xbox and i can do that.
for both off the things i have no problems.
but telling that xbox communety also has cheaters is something i cant accept.
i have play long xbox and have play a lot of multiplayer online and never ever see any cheaters in the game’s i have play.
and the game’s i mean are Cod titels and Halo titels in the most case.
only see in some game titels explote’s that has become commen to use in multiplayer match’s.
and in halo titels i am done all with the discusion about cheaters/hackers since the problem how to fix it for the most part have been told all and have been ignore so the price is now thats blowing up the discusion.

so if The pc communety tells that xbox has also cheaters on there concole then the test i suggest is something to show if its true or false.

Covering up the names? What’s the point of even posting the video?

I died, the one who killed me did the best out of everyone else. No way that’s possible. I’m on controller and I barley have to aim and track my enemy to get my kills. They must be a PC player, they must be using hacks. Yeah that’s it, there’s no other way. Blah Blah Blah.

Naming doesn’t need to included to show whether a player may or may not be using cheats or hacks.

It’s a precaution less than a breach of rules, at least on Waypoint. However I believe outright naming a player is enforced.

Because it refutes your misunderstanding of how anti-cheat and console security works and demolishes your idea that PC gaming is a lawless wasteland where the only way to enjoy your experience is to hack with the other hackers. And that you really want to me to buy into your idea that has nothing to do with my points?

Buddy, I don’t care about you trying to sell me on an unrelated ridiculous convoluted idea with results based on information and data we don’t even have access to now, I’m not interested and I’m not buying it.

All I care about is you addressing the relevant points I’ve brought up based on your comment. If you can’t do that simple task, don’t bother responding.

this thread is from 2 years ago about halo infinite become’s free to play.
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/t/please-no-free-to-play/246658

players back then are not happy and are scared that the cheater/hackers problem is become huge.

and look how the cheater/hack threads are blowing up now since in the past people have warning what will happing and are not happy about the any idea.

That’s all super true but at the same time something is better than nothing.

One thing I’m pretty sure I didn’t touch on was the fact that I feel all devs and pushers should seek to also take action in the ways that Bungie, Ubisoft and Activision are and take the distributors of these softwares to court for as much as they can get.

It seems like it’s gonna work wonders in the long run.

and what if the distributors from the cheater software are coming from other country’s that not wane work with a other country about things like that since there country’s that are doing it in a lot off other things.

I beg to differ… How doe’s M/K out aim a controller with aim assist? Literally the crosshair for console players just needs to be near the outline of a spartan and the bullets magnetize to the enemy… More like M/K can’t out aim console players…

Bullet magnatism is not dependend on input device. It works with both controler and MKB. Just like it did on MCC. It’s only aim assist that is dependend on input device (only for controler).

And MKB is way faster in bringing the crosshair to the enemy player, so a MKB player will be quicker to land a first shot then a controler player. A controler player maybe better in keeping its aim (but only while moving ánd still having shields), but in situations where it’s dependend on 1 shot (think about tactical slayer) or where very precise aiming is not that important (AR), or where you need to keep adjusting for bloom (commando) that quick aiming that MKB has, is realy helpfull and gives you the upper hand.

You can still sue people from other countries dude.

There have already been over seas cheat manufacturers that were sued out of business by US companies.

That’s like saying that if I commit assault via a drone proxy in a foreign land that I couldn’t be held accountable because I was on foreign soil.

i mean sue then is no problem but then what is the point if you go to court and the punishment there get is worthless since there country there are in or coming from is doing notting since there not wane work with it to stop it.
but sue then is not going to work now in this state off the game is now first there need to chance a lot before there maybe can do it.

to stop the cheating problem is something nobody can do.
the only few things that can help are:

1: not use the F2P formule for big titels like cod/halo since it lure’s only more cheaters and its going to work in the end bad.
its a good formule but it has also a worse bad effect and thats something we have all see in warzone from cod since launch from it.

2: what also not works is this formule more: Force Crossplay + F2P Formule = hell and worse combo there is to do for any game.
and this formule is for some communety members all a big fix: Option Crossplay + F2P Formule = less hell and worse combo for one side of the communety.

in the end cheating/hacking is something there cant stop any more in game’s.
its the same with the big problems in the real world what there also not can stop since its become a big problem to deal with at some point.

Is that above clip desync, hacking, both, neither?

while they are cheaters, I think they are pretty much done with Halo and ran its course. I think it is not the cheaters, I think there are major bugs in this game that really gives out this look as if someone is cheating. 343 needs to update the game because I have played with PC players and they are good, but at the same time made console players better.

This is a bugs issue that a lot of things never made sense, also are people out there that they are just that good in this game.

I was very big against cross-play but I think it has to do with the bugs that hurt the game, we are so quick to blame PC players on everything but yet is not them, I am sure they are saying a few things about console players as well.

If we need to point the finger at it, it is 343 and only themselves.

1 week ago i submitted a ticket on halo waypoint support. I reported a cheater using wallhack, he could shot through walls and had infinite ammo on the rocket launcher. Uploaded clips from Halo recorded gameplay. It took time to do all the work.
Now 1 week later, the ticket is still in the state “open”.

So, i reported a cheater, no investigation or information until now. I guess the cheater is still using his hacks, because nothing happened? If the state of the ticket really is “open” and no action has been tacken, then my effort to submit a ticket, is worthless.

there get a lot off tickets off cheaters people sent.
so if there are 50+ tickets a day are comming and there can only look on a day base to 20 or 30 tickets or lower since there need to do first investigation if its 100% using hacks before there bann him then it will take a lot off time.
that means the reports are only becoming more and more what there can do on a daily base.
and maybe you need to wait month’s before there compleet your ticket.

It normally takes 343 about 2 to 3 months before they act on those tickets…

Thank you, didnt know that it takes that long to process a ticket.
But then we are again by the topic “lack of communication”.
Just an automated e-mail that said: “thank you for the ticket you submitted. It takes 2-3 month until we can process your ticket…”
Ok, so i would be informed. Still a disappointment. I guess that in 2 or 3 month, the hacker doesnt play anymore halo infinite. Will be moved on.

the problem is there cant tell it 100% always with that how long it will take.
for exemple: if there chance the force crossplay system to make it a option that players can turn on/off then the tickets there get will also become less since there are people that will turn off the crossplay for sure.
so the cheaters tickets become then also less then with force crossplay there is now.
that means if you need to wait now 2 or 3 month’s before there work on your ticket that means it can become with 1 chance off the crossplay for exemple become soon 1 month or less.

and there is a high chance the cheater can still keep playing and keep using cheats and then you get more dupe reports more.
and thats also a problem that you get now also more dupe reports from the same cheaters that also works backfire.

Can I please turn crossplay off and play against my own platform for god’s sake!!! Jesus! what’s wrong with 343???
