PC Crashing makes ranked unplayable

Is there any way we can have our ban timers reduced? I have crashed about 30+ times playing, mostly in ranked. I have reset so many points making my climb to Onyx nearly impossible. There’s nothing listed about PC stability in their known issues list, when thousands of us complain about the crashing. I literally can’t play the game on a strong PC, and had to hunt for an Xbox to play on.

It’s truly pathetic the PC community has gotten not a single stability update, or mention of it’s insanely bad performance. Even the HCS tournament was riddled with issues and disconnects on LAN, resulting in PC’s getting replaced with Xbox’s for the main stage. Will we ever get an update for PC?

Lastly, with how many times we crash, it’s extremely unfair to have long bans now. I literally have NEVER left a ranked game but I get banned for 343’s inability to make a stable game after years of experience with the hilarious MCC. Will we ever get any attention or update on this, or does anyone know if they’ve ever mentioned the atrocious stability for PC? I WANT to love this Halo game but it’s clear PC is an afterthought.

What specs you got I only crashed about 6 times since game came out and yup I got A 1070 and game runs fine

Hopefully they fix it asap when they come back from the holidays

If you have the Hi Res Texture Packs installed, uninstall them. I’ve heard that significantly reduces the amount of times your game will crash.

That’s really strange, I play on a PC and my game hasn’t crashed a single time, other then a little bit of lagging here and there and of course the desync issues there hasn’t been anything.

My game was running great though game pass until maybe a week ago. Now it crashes to desk top with no warning or error message I can play campaign for 3 hrs nothing happens than play for 10 min and it crashes 3 times. Same thing in multiplayer. I have a fairly high end machine and this is very annoying.
