PC Crashes With New Update

New update downloaded. Game crashes now. Am I the only one? I can’t even get data from it as it is an instant blue screen crash. Not data about what the blue screen is either.

You’re getting a BSOD crash and not a desktop crash?

If you are getting a BSOD crash, this is most likely a CPU and/or RAM issue. A GPU (driver and/or software) is usually just a crash back to desktop.

I need more info from you…

CPU?
GPU?
RAM specs?
XMP enabled?
BIOS showing correct RAM speeds and timings?
If AMD CPU, is BIOS showing correct Infinity fabric memory? This is half of your RAM speed (eg 3600HMz = 1800MHz Infinity fabric)
CPU overclock? If so, via BIOS or software?

Desktop crash of blue screen?

Windows 11
GTX 1070
R5 3600
Hyper X 3200 32 GB
M.2 and SSD

When I play other demanding games, it is completely fine. I don’t receive any new errors in evet viewer either. Just a crash critical error with no dump. Only happens when I am matchmaking and playing the game. No unique time limit. I rollbacked windows version that didn’t work.

Are you playing from Steam or Xbox PC/MS store?

I am playing on Steam i have done a integrity check.
I’ve also done a sfc in cmd with not integrity violations.

Is your GPU overclocked?

It’s water cooled, and no.

hey y’all, just as a reminder, the place you want to report bugs and crashes is gonna be with a ticket to the Halo Support crew.

Reinstalled the game and no problems so far. How do I close this?
