PC Controller Settings causing Aim Assist to be way stronger than intended

Those who are turning deadzones down are introducing micro stick drift, which is almost unnoticeable to the player, but is picked up by the game. This means you are always getting tracking aim assist even when not moving the right stick. This is one of the reasons you see the videos of players standing still or afk, but see aim assist tracking the target. The game registers input on the aim stick, and always has aim assist engaged. I think this is causing aim assist to be overpowered in the top end of the scene, where everyone is using the same settings with deadzones decreased. This needs to be fixed before real conversation on KBM vs Controller input balance can be discussed.

It is kind of funny how the arguments of controller aim assist being bad, and broken, but also the arguement of aim assist being overpowered are both true at the same time… All due to bugs or unintended use of the game mechanics and settings. This is also why console controller users report very different aim assist outcomes vs PC players and streamers using controller.
