PC App Crashes - Do I have to worry about a ban?

After deciding to wait on Infinite for about a year after release, I just started playing last week. At home we have a pretty bad internet connection, we are using T-Mobile home internet, which is mostly reliable.

Last night when playing big team battle, in two games my Halo Infinite crashed, closing the app completely, bringing me right to my desktop.

I also had the game freeze on me yesterday, with just a little time to go before a match was over.

I’m wondering if 343 can tell the difference between the game crashing or me trying to leave a game early, which I would never do. I am a horrible player, and know it, so I would never leave a game early for any reason.

I’m worried if this continues to happen, or if my semi-ok home internet acts up (which so far it hasn’t), if I might be facing a ban. I hope that would not be the case, since I really enjoy playing, despite how bad I am at it.

Also wondering if anyone is facing issues with the PC app crashing. It seems to happen when there is a lot going on in the game. It will freeze, and then quit to the desktop.

Thanks for any input.

I was using Three’s 4g mobile home internet and had awful issues with crashing on Xbox series S. Even though watching films and all other internet services worked fine.

I found out it was the MTU setting on the router the company set it to 1380 as standard and I was unable to change this to the 1480 Xbox live needs to work without fault.

Changed my supplier in the end - as the 5g service wasn’t available in my area.
