Buying DLC for bonus content and maps is one thing but paying for spartan ops?! Really 343! To me thats like having to pay to get the rest of an entire campaign so you can finish it. You already need XBOX live to be able to play the first half season of the spartan ops story and now I cant finish it because microsoft feels like they need more money!!! I think this is petty and pathetic and if I could get an actual response from a 343 representitive, then all the better.

They haven’t even announced a season 2 for Spops. Why would you even think unconfirmed Spops DLC would be included in a multiplayer map-pack bundle?
I can’t stop laughing at posters who think we shouldn’t pay for future seasons of SPOPS. You have no idea of the development costs behind the CGI and episodes do you? You have no idea that MS/XBL subscriptions are not revenue for 343i, do you?
Grow up, get a job, paper route or whatever and pay for the things you want in life.

Sorry I heard that season 2 cost money and when I saw that I needed download episodes 6-9 I assumed I had to pay for those too
I would pay 1600 MSP for SpOPS Season 2. I bet that those CGI cutscenes are really expensive, not to mention developing 50 missions.
I wouldnt buy a 2nd season, only worth thing are the CGI scenes which I can easily watch on youtube, the gameplay is incredibly boring.

the game play is a bit tedious, with friends it gets better. But i like it.
I’ll pay for a second season. Though I hope they change some of the gameplay mechanics. Like make it more like the campaign, add unique objectives, cinematics. Spartan Ops has potential to be more then just shiny CG cutscenes.
With all these threads about paying, even though its not confirmed, could change 343s mind and end up making people pay for it; since a lot of people say they would indeed pay. Can’t believe everything on the Internet. Wait, or is it that you can believe everything on the Internet?
