Would like to but can’t. Im lucky to even have this game at all really. I was lucky to win some money and my wife insisted on me getting the new console because I never get anything for myself. Before I had the OG xbox one and even played the Infinte flights on it but even then it didn’t play well. I managed to get the 20th anniversary XBsX and i cant wait to play Halo but im so annoyed that for stuff I want I would have to spend more money. Why is there no option to unlock things by playing the game. I understand we’re your coming from but no game should force people into a pay wall

Real world money? Nah bro. That’s for real world things like food, and the mortgage. I use virtual money for virtual things, taken from the stash of reward points I been sitting on.

I mean technically you get free stuff every week/event by playing. If you have game pass you will be able to unlock more stuff through the campaign. There are also legacy unlocks if you have played the older games.
Sorry to hear you won’t be in a position to put aside a bit of money for cosmetic items. That must be frustrating. I can imagine that’s why a lot of people don’t want this system.

I agree with this as long as someones actually adding something to the discussion, his comments on every post are almost exactly the same “just save money its just 20$ the game is free just accept it” and yeah thats okay and all but its literally the same post everyday, and hes not the only one doing it either

For the discussion, some people have changed my mind on certain things and maybe I have done the same for others. It’s important to provide feedback so 343 can calibrate the community response. I’m sorry if this does not correlate with your opinions.
I like Halo, I’m here to discuss Halo. I was very active on Waypoint prior to the game’s release and understandably I am still here now to spend time around other Halo fans. Have also mentioned the fact I have a baby so when I’m holding him and he is sleeping I have one hand and little else I can do so typing on this forum kills time when my partner is watching something I don’t want to watch.

I don’t care about his point and really never have. It’s based on the idea that we are the issue and not the people up top who let systems like these pass on through.

This wouldn’t of been as frustrating to me if they just allowed the ability to customize your static colours & have coatings be a cool premium option to pay for, unfortunately it looks like we’ll be paying for the colour blue on multiple armor cores.
