Does halo 5 favor players who pay for their req packs ?
Or does halo 5 favors more towards players that spend more hours grinding req points?
Is there really a diffierence?
Assuming these player examples are those who have completed their bronze and silver permament unlocks. You shouldnt be opening gold if you havent anyway.
Player A can spend $9 for three gold packs in one minute
Player B can :
spend 3 hours and 36 minutes ( 1 hour and 12 minutes per pack, or 6 games each ) grinding warzone assualt ( Average game time being 12 minutes )
or 5 hours ( 1 hour, 40 minutes per gold pack, or 5 games ) playing regular warzone, for 3 gold packs ( Average game being 20 minutes ).
At the end of the day, both players earn the same reward, unless if however . .
Player C : Purchases 3 Gold packs, and plays as much as Player B does, doubling his req packs, or earning as much as player A and B combined
Of course , players who buy req packs will more often than not grind the game, but those who dont will have the same items earned, just not necessarily as much, without having to pay extra money, while having fun at the same time as those who spend money.
In my opinion (please do not attack me), the players who spend on req packs just fill their progression faster, and admittingly have more fun using their abundance of reqs. But purchasing reqs ( Player A ) wont mean your unstoppable against Player B, and you dont have to spend money to have fun, which is a good thing. For every Nornfang player Player B has, however, player A has 2. As a player B, i am quite jealous of others sometimes ( I dont even have a nornfang ).
So is halo 5 play to win? Or play to win . Both?
You decide! Feel free to share your opinion.
