Could there be a PAX Prime Medal Offer like The E3 Medal?
All rules and Topics could be applied,just like The E3 event.
The only reason for the medals for E3 was because it was a reward for those who put up with the forums issues for the whole week, while PAX had no issues as bad as the ones from E3.
Plus, if we started having medals for each event, we would just have endless, pointless medals and a lot of people would have them.

There was only 3 major events this year for Halo (to my knowledge) and they were;
Pax
RTX
E3
While I do agree with you that pushing out a ton of medals wouldn’t be in the best interest of the forums, I think that it should be expanded on what has already been established.
CMoTW has already been handed out to most of the regulars here on the forums. A lot of people aren’t earning them and probably won’t.
While more and more people are joining and not getting some type of encouragement to keep posting and a Rank that can take forever to rank up doesn’t encourage people to post more. Instead they lose interest.
I was thinking more along the line of adding something like unlockables to try to boost interest in posting, along with medals and ranking. A cool wallpaper, some free ringtones, getting a little more extravagant to make the lower ranks seem more “fun”.
I agree of those above said, to many medals in’st quite the way to go.
While some rewards can be somewhat difficult to earn, such as your rank if you don’t have much spare time, and the fact that you can’t post alot can even hurt someone’s chances of CMoTW if they were aiming to get it, as people won’t see you as often.
So as Mystyrion said, some kind of reward to spice things up would be really nice. It could be a medal, or a rank, or maybe even a nameplate if they were still around.
And coming from a Recruit on the forums (Currently) I know it can be difficult to rank up if you don’t have alot of time on your hands, and that it only gets more difficult. Most people you see alot are people who enjoy halo, most being long time players, or newer people like myself that think Halo is a great game. Thus, they invest time into it and don’t stick around for a rank or some kind of pot of gold, they stay simply because they like the game, and can even come to like select members of the community.
So that’s my somewhat quick thoughts.
Pretty what Moa stated, Plus and a lot of threads about not getting a medal. To much un-need forum topics that will lead to complaints.
