I’ve been playing around w/ all the leaders for the past few weeks trying to find a main. I really like the defensive aspects of Pavium and I feel as though he has a lot of potential. Though I still feel as if I need quality offensive and defensive strats to employ as I make my way into PVP for season 13. I like the idea of reaching out with orbital designator / rain of fire from the comfort of my uber-protected base(s). What’s a good opener? Most effective units for his play style? Good/bad leader powers. 1V1 and/or teams advice. Looking for the S tier stuff gentlemen. Any insight is appreciated!

I haven’t read this guide but Liam is a good player I’m pretty sure he covers everything you want to know about pav.
but ideally you want to open with a triple chopper opener and spam choppers tech 1 with some suicide grunts. Banished have a weaker tech 1 than unsc. Pav also has a really weak T1
the game plan is spam choppers until. Tech 2 then over power him with tech 2 units maradaur rangers or hunters will most likely be the play at tech 2. Then go to tech 3 and spam wraiths he’s simple to use.
ideally the leader powers you want in this order
burnout 1, burnout 2, rain of fire or mines, rain of fire or mines, litch
never use the litch on defense only drop it on someone’s base with a army to support or force their army somewhere else maybe at an expo and drop it on their main base
get your leader out tech 2 not tech 1 you don’t want to slow down your tech 2. Pav gets to tech 2 the fastest.
im not a pav main so I can’t give you the god teir explanation This is just basic knowledge
if you take anything from this every situation isn’t ideal so remember what I said a few times when writing this ideally.
When thinking about leader powers to get think about first what is this leader power doing for me. Is it changing the tide of battle (killing units or pads on someone base), is it helping my Economy, is it doing anything to give me an advantage
leader powers to stay away from off the top of my head for pav are orbiter designator, and mega turrets that’s if you want to get better. If you do get mega turrets ur forced into turtle mode, never buy orbiter designator period there is no what if if you buy this it’s properly a hour long game.

S tier is extremely high. I have b or c tier advice only.
