Guys, I just want to say that some of you are really taking this too far. I took unpaid leave off work for the release, and yes 1) I cannot play online and 2) my achievements aren’t working properly.
But can you please appreciate the massive job that is TMCC. 4 massive games on one disc/download with all the multiplayer maps. Of course problems were going to happen. I mean come on, Battlefield was nowhere this ambitious and its servers/online mode was absolutely awful for months, and they didn’t release all these apologies that 343i until months after release. Even Destiny had similar problems with online modes.
343i has my utmost confidence that they will sort out these problems as soon as possible. Be it a day or maybe even a week. If it is bothering you that much, stop playing for a little bit and come back at a later date, then hopefully you can realise what an amazing game it is with complaining like the world is ending.
Just have an ickle bit of patience.
Actually I think BF4 was very ambitious. Bigger maps, more players, environmental hazards, ranking system and weapons to name a few.
Patience is good to have for things like this because there is literally nothing we players can do except be said virtue and submit game breaking bugs.
I wholly agree, but I am still slightly worried given the sheer number of bugs present at launch. I can understand matchmaking issues, but have a tougher time accepting how many minor glitches exist. 1th place, campaigns crashing, saves disappearing, achievements not unlocking, the list goes on. I hope this is a symptom of a rushed release to make the anniversary date, and not a recurring theme for Halo 5 and beyond.
We were patient all the months up until the release.
Just want to play the game so bad and to have the game right in front of you but yet unable to play it sucks.
