CHANGING THE GAME
Also on the horizon for Halo Wars 2 is a collection of updates and bug fixes, all designed to improve player experience in a wide range of areas. While we’re still nailing down the final details for the impending patch notes, we grabbed (gently) Clay Jenson from the Halo Wars 2 team to give us a quick overview on what players can expect to be addressed. Here’s a sneak peek!
Hero units enhanced to make them quicker to field, tougher, and more powerful when upgraded. - Player gamertag and rank hidden in pre-match screens. - Banished shield stacking bonuses reduced. - Garrison bonuses reduced for hero units. - Tuning pass for Tier 2 Vehicles to increase their punch and cost-effectiveness. - Scout units adjusted to bring them more in line with each other. - Supply Pad upgrade time reset. - Saved game bug fixed and game progress restored for affected players. - Maximum Camera scroll and fast scroll speeds increased. - Alternative unit sub-selection control added (RT+Y)

I don’t expect the hero units to change in their mechanics, I mean, the only thing I’d change to warlord would be making his pull stun as well. But beyond that don’t expect melee heroes to be useful while using ALL-UNITS.
Good to see we got some news!
Cant wait to see the differences next week (fingers crossed lol), even though a lot of the patch stuff is pretty vague. At least the Spartans finally got some love. Very curious about how well Jerome plays. Can’t wait!
If they just completely removed the ability to camp your units inside the shield gens it wouldn’t even be a problem. Hopefully the patch notes are specific with how much they’re nerfing shield stacking. My fear is they won’t go far enough with the nerfs and it’ll still be a big problem.

i play team war sometimes and i generally dod if i get 2 teammates level 20 or below vs 3 high levels why because everytime i play with scrubs, i end out outplaying atleast 2 people but cant finish because those 2 new players dont know wtf there doing. then i end up quitting cause you literarly cant 1v3 and win.
so i think they need to balance tram matching in ream war, hate losing to bad players cause 1v2s are unwinable,
for example this level 8 i just got sone playing with build goliths 10 plus minutes while the other guy built 2 condors. so i ended up soloing 2 condors and a army since goliths are not good and left immeditely after wiping both armys cause the 3rd guy rolled in.and our 3rd had 10 marines and hellbringers 10 plus minutes in.
so no please please do not hide rank and fix dodging.

I think he’s focused on spamming LPs. He has that one passive that makes all LPs heal and boost his units. So hard hitting melees using LPs to disrupt the enemy and boost his allies. That’s my guess anyway.
Edit: Stasis also works on friendly units making them invulnerable to damage. So its going to be used like Bulwark i imagine.
