1st the patch was stuck at 4%.
It shows the update has finished now.
I load Halo MCC and it shows ‘‘Failed to connect to Host’’.
This is what I keep getting after every search.
Failed patch is a fail.
Rock. Paper. Go F yourself says the online patch.
Now your demands for a refund are legit.
This is a joke.

Complete Joke I Agree!!! Im a true halo fan and have been playing this game since I was 12! I’m 22 and bought the xbox one just for this game because it brings back memories… Now they just completely screwed it up!!! I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for this patch!!! And found out that I just bent over for Microsoft and got r***d for my money! Tried to connect with my brother and find a match and it says “players found” … Then “searching” like wtf!!!

I’ve always loved halo, it’s literally the first game I purchase for Xbox one and all I want to do is play halo 2 online again! The patch downloaded but when I go to multiplayer, all it says is downloading latest matchmaking data, please wait. Nothing indicating how long it could take…hell my Xbox’s screen just dimmed I’ve been waiting so long. This is seriously saddening…
Not overly happy about this whole situation I’ve met my greatest friends on halo this is just disappointing
this is the main reason why I bought my xbox one was to get the collection biggest halo fan but happy and I’m sure there’s a lot of people out there

it was 15g just to install it I went yup no worries just done the 1.5g only to back to square one not every one has the money nor the patients to keep downloading updates when the buggers don’t frigging work
pretty sure my s_h_i_t box hard drive will be completely full, with how many more content updates they will need to do to even make the game a little bit playable.
The patch is working well for me on the multiplayer side of things… until the game ends with a “Match Incomplete” anyway.
I couldn’t even read the in game message about the game being updated. It vanished immediately and said ‘connection lost’. I see the change for ‘searching for players’ to ‘players found’ but it’s still taking way too long. This is more depressing than the inability to play the day it came out.
I’m having the same issues with getting separated from the party, unable to join my friends lobby, long search times in a party, etc. The only thing that has improved is the search time when going in matchmaking alone.
At this point imo, I feel it would be in 343i best interests to either recall this game and re-release it when it’s fixed or halt all production on Halo 5 untill they fix this game.

Yep, the big patch had very minimal improvements.
I give up on halo time 2 move on. 3 failed games in a row -_-
I can’t find any games at all after the patch… this is ridiculous…
Big Halo fan since the beginning! Cannot get into any match. Campaign is awesome but I want to relive the memory of halo 2 online and Halo first time online.
but I cant. Dont waste your time waiting for a match, let it fix out or just return for the cash.

Congratulations 343, you have single-handedly killed my favorite gaming franchise since I was 10 years old, Bungie’s biggest mistake was selling the halo franchise to you. So far you have done nothing but screw it up, first with halo 4, if you can call it a game. And secondly, now with Halo: The Master Chief Collection. I will never play halo again, not while you own it, anyway. I would say I have been quite patient, and with the next halo game, changing the scoping style. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU LOT? I have been looking for an excuse to stop playing Halo, and now you have given me one, thanks for nothing. Nothing but a bunch of people who know bugger all about making video games.
