I’m not sure the reasoning as to why Campaign is the odd one out right now considering some of the other modes don’t need to be. Campaign doesn’t need to be offline available either so may as well make that online only right? Obviously this isn’t a serious request despite how this may be an eventuality for future games
A petition if started could highlight a subject that both ms and 343 have yet to talk about despite frustration from a minority folk. Obviously it wouldn’t be take in serious regards to what’s being asked but a joke petition may at least gain a reasonable amount of signatures that maybe gets 343 and ms at least think about the allowing options for those that want to play some of Halo5’s certain modes offline. They already do this with ‘free’ xbox one gold games which you can purchase outright rather than play only if you are a gold member. So it’s a system already in place and as Phil Spencer often says ‘we are giving people choices’ .Currently they are not giving me and others any choice to play these additional modes to Halo5 other than to be a gold member. Right now I have absolutely no problem playing any of the modes because I have gold and internet connection but there’s no getting away from the fact that Forge is a problem regarding if you’re work is still going to be accessible for example years from now and so the option to buy an offline version is I think a fair one.
And really it’s also entirely fair for ms or 343 to do what they currently do but it’s not is the spirit of minority fans if you don’t listen to their reasonable request just because they’re a minority
Not that I would know how to set one up but maybe a petition of this sort actually might be a good thing.
