Patch Error for The Yappening

I have not been able to download the newest patch for halo wars 2 due to a reoccurring network error. I have reset my Xbox and router every way possible. I was wondering if there was a way that this could be fixed or if any devs are aware of this issue. Also, are any other players experiencing this?

I was in a HW2 game when the YAP YAP update came threw. After my game I attempted the update and now I have the following message

> NETWORK ERROR
> ERROR DOWNLOADING DATA
> An error occurred while downloading the latest game configuration data. Online features may be restricted. Do you want to retry?

  • I have 2 Xbox ones in my home that are used. - We use the home xbox option and game share between the two of them. - The YAP YAP update for Halo Wars 2 on the Xbox one S had no problems and works fine. - Its the older Xbox one that is having issues. - The one with the issues has always been an adult console with no parental setting.UPDATE - PROBLEM FIXED!!
    step 1 - I deleted the account that purchased HW2.
    step 2 - I powered off my XBOX & unplugged the power cord for 10 seconds
    step 3 - Added the account that I just deleted BACK to my xbox.
    step 4 - Started the HW2 game back up. ------- THIS did NOT fix my problem but maybe it will fix yours.
    SINCE THE ABOVE DID NOT WORK FOR ME… I had to uninstall and reinstall all 41.3 G of data back onto the console.

Luckily for me I have an external drive that I back up everything to and it wasn’t being used when the system crashed.
So the uninstall/reinstall was easy and fast. The 40.3 G of data download would have taken HOURS on my internet.
