First fact, I got a Press Early Access for my review of Halo 5, so my digital copy works since October 16. Like everybody, I installed the Day One patch yersteday (I live in France) and my game grown to 54.8GB correctly. The 9GB download appair in my bandwidth usage.
But when I lanch the game, a message tell me : “Error authorizing user with Halo 5: Guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes.”
I try to install the game again, without any issue. But the same message appair over an over, even I reboot my Xbox One. If a member on 343 visit this topic, please help me. I need to play multiplayer for my website Xboxygen.
“Profile Sync Error : An error occured when syncing to your profile. Settings and preferences have been set to default for this session. Changes made during this session will still be saved to your profile.”
No, identical problem here, same error messages. Tried pretty much everything but cannot access the online modes. I’m trying to redownload everything on another console as of now, to see if the issue is with my profile or maybe i just downloaded a corrupted patch file
Your GTs might not be whitelisted. I would suggest contacting Bravo via twitter (@Brav) to ensure that you guys get your GTs on that whitelist. There might be a spelling error at some point.

I have had the “profile sync error”
Through several phone calls yo Microsoft thy told me to delete and re install the game which was daunting seen as it takes about 4hrs.
So the game finished downloading and I still had the same error code !
I have a short fuse so I shut the Xbox off twatted the internet router and cept turning it of and on off and on off and on… I loaded the game up just as I was connected and it worked ! Give this a try and ceep trying it … Hope this helps

Hi I’m having the same problem downloaded the game normally and played it both on launch day and day after very smoothly then when I went it again it said error trouble with synchronizing profile and reset everything
I KNOW THE PROBLEM FOR THE PROFILE SYNC ERROR !!!
ok through hours of contact with Microsoft did no help what so ever
The problem was my internet provider was set to block mature content
All you need to do is ring them to remove the block and the game will start up fine no problems at all … If this worked for you please reply to my message
