Past Armor Permutations Returning?

So which armor permutations from past games would you like to see make a comeback? I haven’t heard much about the different permutations, but I’m interested to see if they bring some of the older ones back.

Mark VII armor wouldn’t be compatible with Mark VI permutations, so I’m not 100% positive if it’s canonical to bring them back in the first place.

However, if they do decide to bring some back, I would like to see Recon, Rogue, Scout, Gungnir, and possibly Hayabusa.

gungnir has already been confirmed. (5.30.12 bulletin showcasing the skins)

Interesting. I was thinking about the fact that it is a completely new armor system, so I wasn’t sure if it was 100% guaranteed that we would get permutations from previous titles.

I hope Mark V returns.

I was thinking. ODST’s should have their helmets upgraded to the Mark V style. I mean, the helmet has been around for years and if that helmet was so effective, it could probably be adapted for ODST armor like the Recon helmet. I always thought this would be cool for Post-Halo 3 era.

If Hayabusa and Gungnir are returning, why not other permutations? There better be a Mark V and VI in the game.

Not a bad idea, really. Could make canonical sense as well.

I think they’ll bring back Mark V, Mark VI, and ODST for the sake of pleasing the old crowd. Maybe CQB and EVA will be making a comeback. Otherwise, I’m not sure what will be returning. I would love it if EOD and Pilot were to come back, but that’s just me.

I’ve heard nothing on Hayabasa, but I know Gungnir and Hazop are returning.

I’m thinking it will be mostly new ones, but they will probably bring the more popular old ones back (Recon, MV, MVI).

They could also make newer versions of the old ones as well.
