It’s all happened to us. A enemy vehicle, like a warthog is reeking havoc and it finally makes the mistake of getting too close and you board the enemy turret gunner. Now what? You sit there on the turret as the enemy drives you around. This is something that wasn’t that big of a problem, but still should have been addressed. The issue is lessened when boarding a passenger seat because at least you can melee the driver to death, but in the gunner seat, you aren’t rewarded for boarding besides getting a free ride.
I purpose that if you board a enemy vehicle from the turret you should be able to pull LT or whatever the grenade throw button is and jam a grenade into the vehicle, similarly to what you do when you board a wraith or scorpion, and jump off the vehicle casually in bad@*# fashion. I think this should go for any vehicle that you may be in that contains yourself and another enemy.
This could work vice versa. Lets say you jetpack to a falcon driver and rip him out of the cockpit, you now have 2 enemies in the back seat. You then hit LT or another designated button, and you slam a grenade in the dashboard and bail out with your jetpack James Bond style. Epic.
Not completely necessary, but I think it would be a cool addition.
Nice idea. This would mean you wouldn’t have to find a cliff to drive off of to kill your passengers. Though I personally think it’s really funny to see a blue driving and a red in the gunner seat.
I think highjacking the gunner seat is fine as it is. Heck, I actually reward the enemy that highjacks the gunner seat of a vehicle I’m driving by letting him kill the rest of my team, it may seem bad but meh, in my eyes, he’s deserved it.

Some people enjoy actually having fun rather than just killing people all the time. That includes driving an enemy around and letting him kill your team, I do this all the time.

Thank you for understanding. As for the other guy, congrats you hate me because I have fun rewarding someone for taking advantage of me slipping up. I find it fun and I’ve made quite a few friends doing that kind of stuff.

I bet during a really intense game you’ll love it when your teammate driving the enemy around kills you.

When someone else on my team does that I kill the gunner, it’s not going to be difficult especially in Halo 4 since we start with plasma pistols. But to each their own

I try to kill the gunner, it’s the same as if an enemy were driving it, then I try to kill the team mate driving And this is on topic, do you know what the thread is about?

I support this idea. Though if I may expand on it a little more, I would love to see in later games where you can board with “X” and then have a choice of how to proceed. You can either hit “B” for the traditional vehicle jack, or you can also hit “LT” for a grenade in the dash or something like that. It would be too much fun doing this to a Mongoose or a Banshee…
