Me and my buddy cant get into a game with each other. Whether I send him an invite at the menu, or while Im in a custom game, we cannot find a way to party up.
Everybody is having this issue
Are there any methods that work or is it impossible to party up?
This is effecting even the co-op campaign as well.
The best way to avoid this is a difficult one, but if you can’t party up with a friend, have both of you go in solo to a matchmaking playlist, and then back out the second it says searching. This resets everything and you SHOULD be able to re-invite. If it doesn’t work, both of you have to quit out of the game and start over, but that should only take about 45 seconds each with how fast the game restarts.
It’s irritating, but this is the best way to get back into a party once it stops working.
Here is the technique that has worked for me every time. Exit out of Halo, close it *(quit), and exit the party app (disband the party). Then, go back in but do not reform the party yet. Go through the roster invite, creating party and inviting game at the same time. Has worked for me every time. Do this at the main menu.

This method has been what I’ve been having luck with. My friends and I force quit after every game. It’s annoying but it works.
