Ever since the update yesterday I cannot play coop with my friend. I have the Microsoft store version of the MCC on PC and my friend does too. When we wanted to party up we would search each other in the game and I would invite my friend and he would click “Status - Joinable” and we’d be in a party on the main screen ready to go.
Since the update it now gives my friend the error - “Joining Failed The user can’t be joined because you are only a follower”. Something in the update broke the party system so we cannot connect. When I try to join him and reverse it so he is the leader it gives me the error - “Joining Failed - Your attempt to join the player has failed. Please try again.”
I know most people were complaining of matchmaking in multiplayer matches but this problem seems to have also come up too and I can’t find any info on a fix or if the devs acknowledge and are working to fix this issue. Anyone have any idea of a fix?
Again, this only happened after the new update yesterday (Thursday). On Wednesday night we were playing just fine.
