Halo 3 supported this feature to allow players to party up after each game with players they felt they had a great time playing with or against and I believe this feature should return.

I think so too. They shouldn’t automatically start up a new game with the players you played with or against, earlier.
Indeed, I hate being partied with people I don’t really like so they should add back that feature to party up and if you choose not to the you go your separate way alone.
