It is ridiculous that full (or almost full) parties are allowed to match against randoms in social playlists.
Please make it so that teams of 3 or 4 don’t match against purely random players in 4v4, and so that teams larger than 4 don’t match against randoms in BTB.

100% agree. I have wanted this for a while.

Totally agree but population issues make it hard to implement something like this.
Its something i believe we can all agree on but that cant really be implemented with the population sadly.
Id appreciate at least a party up system for matchmaking tbh
Honestly, I think they should implement it anyway. If it means full parties can’t play matchmaking together, there is a very active custom game browser for them.
Right now, it’s just toxic, and it will only contribute to further shrinking the player base, when random players get matched against teams where they all go 0-15.

I guess so but I feel like more needs to be done. It’s like I can’t even play certain modes with 3 player splitscreen and I recently found that out…which is rather odd. Yeh I get it’s bad to be teamed up with them but at the moment I don’t know what the perfect solution is. I’m already struggling to find players as it is which is depressing. Thing is I don’t want to be teamed up against full coordinated teams and I also don’t want to have to wait longer for games since 2-3 hour wait times is already bad enough.
Yeah I don’t think split screen needs any restrictions. It is not common at all for 3-4 really good players to be on the same screen (and also be capable of playing at a high level on a quarter size screen with jumbled audio)

Ya split dvreen should be an option for all modes for sure. But it wont serve as much of a benefit in most situarions.
Addkng H5G might help the population?
But in the end all we are really doing is applying a Band-Aid to the sinking ship that is Halo the master chief collection which is pretty sad but also kind of inevitable especially when infinite went free to play not that that’s doing great either
I dunno how much MCC is sinking. It’s definitely down a bit from Infinite’s launch, but I’m currently playing it and won’t touch Infinite in its current state.
I think MCC will stay active so long as Infinite is incomplete, full of bugs, and full of dumb design choices from the devs (like their SBMM / ranking system).
Oh for sure. I mean. I reinstalled HImp for lone wolves but not zure ill stay with it.
Mcc has been on my consoles since launch and my pc since launch and i have yet to remove it so thats says alot haha.
But I definitely feel like the MCC won’t last forever and I’m sure it will help as long as infinite isn’t doing that great but in the end I don’t think that will be enough it’s a lot of Legacy content with no new updates to add life and well there’s a boat load of things to do and options and the mod community is nothing short of astounding there is the main issue that the games are old they aren’t new Halo experiences and for many people that just isn’t enough sad but from my experience as the unreal Tournament and unreal fan on that seems to be the case when a franchise doesn’t land is new releases they tend to go back to the older titles for a while but something you always seems to come along
For sure. I imagine it will eventually become like OG Halo 3 was, where there was one or maybe two modes with players for a very long time, and all other modes completely dead.
And at some point we know the servers will get shut down for all these multiplayer games. It’s just a question of when.
