I don’t know how a file can suddenly go missing. The game was working fine a couple of days ago, but now whenever I go to launch Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam with Anti-Cheat Disabled, the game just refuses to launch. When I click “Play” it changes to “Stop” for a few seconds before reverting back to “Play”. Going into the game files, I double clicked on MMC-Win64-Shipping.exe but it just comes up with a System Errror saying “The code execution cannot proceed because Party.dll was not found”. And, yes. I have just spent the better part of my afternoon reinstalling the game which only produced the same results.
I am honestly at a loss at what I can do. Modding is the only reason why I bought Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the PC but if I can no longer do that then that’s £30 down the toilet.
