Low population pretty much stops anything like this from happening because more people would end up searching for hours instead of playing for hours. Although a playlist where you can only go in alone doesn’t sound bad.

Is it cheating to go into BTB with a full party? No. Does it suck getting a terrible match on the other end because of it? Yes.
The game has a flaw, and it deserves a fix. Groups should be matched with groups of a similar skill level, and randoms should be matched with their own demographic as well.
What do you have against fair play, anyway?

I don’t have nothing against fair play last time I checked when the game starts everyone starts out equal they had the same opportunity to spawn kill me.
Good players don’t let themselves get spawned trapped.

Okay so first this isnt some overhaul of the game to meet the demands of everyone. Im saying this because its just unfair to do to the players.
Reachs MM system is broken as the majority of the game. I am grateful for 343’s fixes to it and now I might love the game. But in any playlist almost that is team based, you seem to get paired against teams, squads, clan, or a whole party. Now normally for me this is in MLG and teams normally work way better then a 4 random players. I go in by myself and my team is a bunch of randoms while Im playing a team of 4 and normally they are mythic+. This normally leads to your team raging and your left all by yourself and the quit ban doesnt help this since it happens a lot in some playlists.
All Im trying to say is fix the system so randoms play eachother and the same for 2’s, 3’s (one random required for each team), 4’s, and so on depending on your playlist.
I find this happens in team slayer, objective, arena, BTB, etc. It blows. Especially with sub par players compared to a team of decent ones.

Much agreed. I personally don’t like playing in teams no bigger than 3 (I’m more of a few close friends instead of 20 acquaintances kind of guy). I hate always getting put against the party of 8 in BTB. Takes the fun out of it really, because like I always say “Communication and organization are the deadliest weapons you can have.”
It hasn’t been a major problem for me but happens on occasion. At the same time I don’t want matchmaking for teams to take too long.
How this can be easily fixed, reduce the amount of playlists, make full party’s match full party’s.

If you play squad slayer then you don’t match with big parties and there’s also no AL.
They should fix this though, I would love to play MLG but it’s full of parties that just DESTROY a team of randoms easily.

I don’t believe the Psyche Profile works the way it was intended. I used to use it all the time, Good Time and Team Player, instead I get a bunch of morons that either don’t do anything to contribute to the team, idle just to get their free Game Complete cR, give others grief, or just power weapon -Yoink!-.
The Psyche Profile options only work to potentially sabatoge other peoples good time. If your an -Yoink- and gets off by ruining others playtime, what’s to stop them for searching for people like me looking for others that want to have a Good Time and Team Players. It’s a classic case of Bait and Switch, which last time I check was Illegal.

Yea, something has to be done about this, especially in big team. The past few days I’ve been matched against full teams so many times, it’s really getting annoying, especially since before the game even starts half of my team quits, then I end up getting banned (first time ever I might add, I am normally not a quitter, but this full team stuff has just annoyed me way too much for me to care) from matchmaking for quitting because I don’t want to sit there for 15 minutes in a 2 on 8, or even worse, 1 on 8 situation where the other team just rapes the hell out of me. Sorry, not my definition of fun. Normally I would play through and at least try to come back, but when it happens so often I just have to quit, I’m not enjoying myself in the least.
If they can’t make it so full teams always match full teams, at least they could try to make it so full teams match split up teams, like two teams of four or one team of five and one team of three etc., not a team full of all randoms. Also, I don’t think people should be penalized for quitting if 5/8 of their team has already quit, nobody likes being at such a disadvantage and it’s kinda messed up that you can get penalized just because you don’t want to sit there and get raped by a full team. Seriously, if this keeps up I just won’t play anymore unless friends are on playing (which lately most have been playing GoW3 so), it’s a shame though because this is my favorite game and big team is my favorite playlist and sometimes I like to go in alone, I don’t want to have to be in a party to play and not have this happen.
I almost never search with a team, but randomly ended up in a party for a few hours somehow.
I was shocked by the poor matching… I thought that at least some of the games would be against other parties, but no, they were all against randoms.
And even though the skill level of those in my party were… “sub-par,” to put it nicely, the games were still overwhelmingly unbalanced. It wasn’t even fun. At all.
